Safari Lodges at West Midland Safari Park offer a mixture of luxury lodges and premium cottages, designed to give you an up-close and immersive overnight wildlife experience like no other.
The first phase of accommodation opened in April 2021, offering overnight stays at either an Elephant Lodge or Cheetah Lodge. Each lodge is integrated into the newly-updated Safari and authentically-themed with spectacular views overlooking the elephant or cheetah habitats.
Later that summer, Red Panda Cottages opened, nestled within the walk-through Discovery Trail in the Safari Park. These have been expertly refurbished with Nepalese design influences and amazing views of adorable red pandas right outside the windows.
Opened in April 2022 was eight more Lodges, overlooking brand-new white rhino and giraffe habitats. The white rhino lodges sleep up to six people and will be the only experience of its kind in the UK. The ground floor will provide an open-plan living space with a balcony offering ground-level views of the rhinos. Two bedrooms and a bathroom will be located on the first floor, along with a balcony providing panoramic views of the rhinos and Safari. In the giraffe lodges, guests will be able to come eye-to-eye with the Park’s charismatic tower of eight giraffes from the balcony on the first floor, which is where the living room, kitchenette and dining room are situated. A bathroom and two bedrooms will be downstairs, providing accommodation for five people.
Safari Lodges short breaks include dinner and breakfast, spectacular views of the animals and admission to the Park at its attractions during normal opening hours. Wristbands for the Adventure Theme Park will also be included for those staying during the Park’s summer season. Each lodge offers free Wi-Fi, TV, coffee machine and mini bar.
