Each Hut is equipped for a completely fuss-free stay, including a cosy en-suite bathroom complete with spacious shower and hot water, double beds with memory foam mattresses, complete with European oak features. All linen and towels are provided.
Sit round the fire pit in the evening toasting marshmallows, and wake up to a peaceful morning enjoying a coffee surrounded by nature in the picturesque shadows of the Hall.
VISITS
Visit the Hall in winter with roaring log fires, mulled wine and mince pies or summer with afternoon tea and delightful grounds, there is plenty to do and see all year round.
On a tour of Samlesbury you can hear of the many lives and families that the Hall has seen come and go over the centuries. From be-headings to bewitchings, their fascinating and often gruesome tales come to life in front of your very eyes.

Stay for lunch in the Heritage Café, whether it’s three courses, or tea and scones, all the food at Samlesbury is prepared freshly in their kitchens using only the finest local produce. There is also a good range of options available for anybody with specific dietary requirements.
Sweeter tooth? Dottie’s Wafflery means you and your group certainly won’t leave hungry – from waffles, to ice-cream sundaes, traditional sweeties and milkshakes, this 1950’s inspired eatery will take you back to days gone by.
In the evenings, look out for Samlesbury’s famous pizza nights in the Italianate courtyard.
ACCESSIBILITY
There is one easily accessible shepherd’s hut, with a purpose built wet room, double bed and ramp. Please just ask when you book.

"Had a lovely weekend August bank Holliday at Samlesbury hall , we stayed in a shepherds hut. I was really surprised when I opened the door, it was a double bed with lovely clean white bedding on nice pillows and fluffy white towels included a nice clean bathroom which is a massive bonus when camping . Loved it will definitely be returning with my grandchildren, loved it”
